Trailheadz.net - El Escorpión (v1 / Short)

85% single-track except for the ending which is a straight fire road full-send to the end. Begin right above or before drop-in, continue straight, stay left towards tree, drop-in next to tree, continue on right side trail where fork happens and into tree-line downhill, lots of scattered mini-boulders, roots, humps and a couple berms along the way. Keep your eyes open. Careful with branches. Some areas of the trail are tight and with the recent rains, the vegetation has in-grown onto the single-track at eye-level. Eye protection and helmet heavily encouraged. Test runs recommended. Some portions of trail may not be rideable if it's recently rained. More info and pictures coming soon. [UPDATE 04.22.23 : Fully dried-out and rideable)

Start Point
Ride with some momentum into the drop-in. The start is right above that on the right about 15-20 ft. I suggest you ride up 40-50 ft up the hill and send it from there. It's a technically challenging drop-in but IT IS INCLUDED in the trial so be sure to hit it. Zoom in to look at start-point if you wish to see where it starts exactly.
End Point
Pin-it down the fire-road until you get to the end of trail where the park entrance is. The ending will be placed about 5-10ft before the park entrance but keep going until you run out of trail. You should be able to break once you've passed the segment ending point.
Directions from Parking to Trail
Ride into park on El Escorpion Trail (main fire-road / wide trail) eventually follow map and take second single track on right. Continue on until you get to drop-in pin.
