Blue Oak Too

2022 The Circuit Trail won by Brenden Floaty McFly - Jul 13, 2022 - 18.3 mph - 3:49 The second half of Blue Oak. Solid intermediate trail. Out & back fast single track that follows the lake. The trail ends before the "Rock Gate", but you can ride this trail around to the marina for some challenging tech with some hiking required. The trail doesn't drain well and can get large drainage ruts during winter and spring. Its a amazing trail when conditions are good, but conditions can change rapidly. No tree coverage makes it hot during the summer, bring clothes to swim to cool down. Look out for hikers and snakes, especially during spring and summer. Lots of tarantulas during the fall, but they are friendly. Trail edge drop-off's can be intimidating. Charging available at the main boat ramp bathrooms when plugs are on. Parking is $10 unless you park off Millerton Rd and ride in. App directions are to free parking
